The NTMU Campus

A university with its own gravity.

Located near the intersection of the President George Bush Turnpike and the Dallas North Tollway in Far North Dallas, NTMU sits at the edge of Plano's suburban sprawl, where corporate campuses, residential neighborhoods and major highways converge.

The university grounds combine academic buildings, athletic facilities, student apartments, recreation areas, Greek residences and landscaped pedestrian corridors into a compact private-campus environment.

Some parts of campus are polished enough for admissions brochures. Others acquire their reputations after midnight.

Unofficial Landmark

The vending machine.

It does not take cards. It does not take bills. It barely accepts quarters.

The aging vending machine tucked away on campus has survived renovations, technology upgrades and multiple generations of students. Somewhere along the way, it also acquired a reputation for being haunted.

The university has no official comment on the matter.
